After the recent dam-visit by the Supreme Court appointed committee, I don't have much hope on an unbiased report. The authorities from Kerala were ignored and treated in disrespectful manner. Looks like the script/screenplay of this story is already written. Keralites need to look beyond the report of this committee and should try to get some unbiased and authorized groups to submit a report to Supreme Court.

NOTE: TO ALL TAMILIANS - PLEASE DON'T MAKE OUR STATE ANOTHER "SRILANKA"

The Tamils who scream for everything that belong to others must realize that there is a verdict in the court of God. Niether your supporters like C.D. Thattai (chairman of the so-called Empowered Committee) or any one can stop/overcome that verdict. And that is the verdict that favours only justice. Remember, you will end up paying a huge price if you do not believe in justice. Realize your mistake and apologize to the Kerala people who have been so long very calm in dealing with the issue that concerns their own water and land (do not take for granted, the patience and restraints shown by Kerala and its people). Periyar is a river that flows fully within the geopraphic boundaries of Kerala. Tamil Nadu is at the mercy of Kerala if they wish to continue to get Mullaperiyar water. They cannot for ever drag on this issue citing some stupid 999-year lease deal that was signed by the erstwhile (now non-existent) British Raj and the Maharaja of Travancore. Did you tamil guys ever asked yourself one simple question "How would Tamils react if the dam was within the geographic boundaries of Tamil Nadu and Kerala is having a claim on Tamil Nadu's water ?". Guys, justice is the same for all. All of us are the creations of Almighty God and He (The Creator) shall sustain his creations and those who dont understand this simple theory are ultimately the big losers.

Does the Tamil Nadu government want to be part of genocide? The reaction from the Tamil leadership seems to indicate such an attitude. A plea for help by a helpless people in the face of a horrendous catastrophe waiting-to-happen seems to fall on deaf ears.

Please stop violence, false propaganda and inhuman treatment of a people who speak up for their just demands. Let the goodness of the Tamil Spirit stand up instead of hatred, violent passions, terrorism and bullying!

It is so shocking and against all principles of justice and humanity that the Tamil Nadu Governemnt and the leadership is reacting to a humanitarian request. Instead of disussing and amicably averting a great human tragedy, they are adding fuel to the fire and whipping up hatred and redicule against the helpless people affected by this water bomb.
Anyone with common sense knows that such an old Dam (built almost in prehistoric times!) needs to be replaced. It does not require a study by an expert committee.
Tamil Nadu's attitude is a crime against humanity on par with the Holocaust.

This issue was raised by keralites before 35 years but still now dam didnot create any problem . And my dear keralites . please understand the reality that Tamils constitute the more in Idukki district population ,. Why this issue is suddenly raised .. Think rationally . this congress govt wanna induce people emotions and do politics wid it .. This dam is 100% safe and this was confirmed by supreme court. .. Kerala Congress govt is misguiding people ...Definitely this dam cannot be demolished as it is very strong ,... Due to this silly political stunt keralites will suffer ,,,
